Dee and Griffin Solicitors

Dee & Griffin is a Gloucestershire law firm established in 1991, with two Gloucester offices that make it particularly practical for clients on different sides of the city. The head office is at Hucclecote Court on Hucclecote Road, while the Quedgeley office is on School Lane. The firm also has branches in Cheltenham, Dursley and Worcester, so it can suit people whose legal matter or property transaction reaches beyond Gloucester but who still want a local point of contact.

Its personal legal work covers conveyancing, wills, trusts and probate, powers of attorney, employment disputes, family and relationship matters, and property disputes. For businesses, the firm handles commercial conveyancing, employment disputes and property litigation. The official site gives useful detail on the scope of each service: its residential conveyancing team, for example, deals with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, first-time buyers, buy-to-let, new builds, shared ownership, remortgages and lease extensions, while its probate team also advises on estate administration, inheritance tax, trusts and deputyships.

When making an enquiry, choose the office and team that match the work rather than simply sending a general request. Property buyers should have the property value, tenure, mortgage position and any Help to Buy or Lifetime ISA details ready, as these affect a conveyancing quote. For family, probate or dispute work, ask who will manage the file, how fees will be structured and what the likely next stage is. Both Gloucester offices offer a useful alternative to a city-centre appointment, particularly for clients travelling from Hucclecote, Brockworth, Quedgeley or the southern edge of Gloucester.
